  • High-performance hybrid board for air tricks and obstacles. The result of our work is a board with surgically precise handling, a new type of 3D channels and carbon lamination. 

Specifications

This model is based on our favourite Fantom board, where instead of fibreglass lamination, we used carbon lamination on the top of the wakeboard. Thanks to this change, we’ve achieved maximum riding performance and lowered the weight of the entire wakeboard. 

The four rounded channels going through the centre of the board follow the board's outline. They stabilize it when landing after a high jump. This new type of 3D shape pushes the water in front of and behind the board, following its outline to ensure a stylish landing after a trick.

To achieve quick edging, high manoeuvrability and precise control, we've used a narrower outline combined with three rounded channels in the tips. Thanks to this, you can edge before an air trick or an obstacle with surgical precision. 

The board has an all-wooden core combined with quadraxial fibreglass lamination on both sides. We've used a laminate with double the normal weight for the base. 

To improve the transfer of force within torsion, we've used four symmetrically placed carbon reinforcements in the tips. There is another carbon reinforcement under the inserts. The symmetrical placement of carbon reinforcements makes the centre of the board relatively soft to ensure better-controlled edging and high pop.

Features

3d machined woodcore
The core is CNC machined with an accuracy of 0.1 mm. This accuracy allows us to fine-tune the riding performance of our products.

Hydrodynamic bottom contour – wake specific
The profile of the 3D shape is designed with a view to its hydrodynamic properties needed for air tricks and park riding.

Quadraxial fiberglass
Quadraxial fibreglass is woven from fibres with 4 different orientations. We have it custom-made so that we can fine-tune the board's flex and torsion by choosing the correct weight and thickness of the individual directions of fibres.

Lite Carbon power stringers
Reinforcements from uni-directional carbon fibres improve the flex along the long axis of the board. Their position, weight and width help to optimize the performance.

Rubber dampened edge
To improve shock absorption and increase durability, we use VDO anti-vibration rubber on the joints of the base and the ABS sidewall.

Asymmetrical sidewall
The sidewall is sanded in the 90:10 ratio, where on its upper side, the profile of the core gets thinner towards the edges to allow for quicker and tighter turning.

Slide base
The sintered slide base was specially designed for wakeboarding and has a hardness of 9.2 × 10⁶ mol.

Bombproof inserts
The inserts are placed in beech stringers passing through the core. Moreover, they are reinforced with quadraxial carbon fabric.
