  • The main benefit of an asymmetrical snowboard is its ability to compensate for the natural difference between frontside and backside turns. A smaller backside radius means less force is needed to initiate a turn.

Specifications

Switch is the only twin-tip snowboard in our range. It was designed for maximum performance in the park and on the slopes. The setback was set to 0mm to preserve its playfulness, allowing for easy control and creativity. Switch is an excellent choice for riders of all levels who want precise performance in the park while also enjoying a ride on hard snow. Switch combines control, stability and playfulness, making it a snowboard that adapts to any riding style

The snowboard has an asymmetrical radius, with a shorter turning radius on the backside edge. As a result, the board compensates for the natural difference between the pressure we put on our heels and toes, making it easier to initiate backside turns. Thanks to this, riding switch is significantly easier as well. An asymmetrical snowboard is ideal for riders looking to improve their switch riding. It is also an excellent choice for freestyle riders of any level because many freestyle tricks involve rotation. An asymmetrical board can make it easier to land tricks in switch. However, the difference is quite subtle, so don’t expect the asymmetrical board to instantly and dramatically improve your skills – it’s not a quick fix for immediate improvement.

The bottom layer is made of a 720g/m2 basalt triaxial laminate with a high percentage of longitudinal fibres. Flex and torsion are thus more harmonized and less aggressive. To give your Ollie an extra high pop, there are unidirectional carbon reinforcements running the entire length of the snowboard. The unidirectional fibres in this stripe compress during takeoff, acting like a spring that gives you a boost upon release. The upper part is made of well-proven triaxial fibreglass we’ve used for over 10 years. The board boasts a top-quality 1.2 mm sintered base combined with a lightweight core made from paulownia and poplar wood.

This design was created in collaboration with Honza Šádek. It is hand-painted in the unique style of Honza’s paintings and illustrations.

Properties

Double woodcore
The poplar and paulownia core is CNC machined with 0.1 mm precision. This level of accuracy allows us to fine-tune the ride and handling characteristics of our products.

Basalt fiber
The bottom layer is made of basalt triaxial laminate of 720g/m2 with a high percentage of longitudinal fibres.

Pop Kevlar reinforcements 
The unidirectional Kevlar reinforcement going from tip to tail gives the board a more aggressive pop and overall better performance.

Triaxial fibreglass laminates
The top layers consist of triaxial fibreglass lamination with 0,-45,+45 fibre arrangement. This laminate has excellent torsion properties, which ensures great edge control even at high speeds.

Bombproof edges
The VDO anti-vibration rubber on the joints of the base and the ABS sidewall improves shock absorption and increases durability.

Carbon sintered base
Top-quality sintered carbon base from Germany with extra carbon for a better slide. Hardness of 10.6 × 10⁶ mol.
