Do you agree that women are often overlooked, and end up riding men’s models or boards with designs they don’t really like? We decided to change that. That’s why we teamed up with the girls from Flamenell. We know how to build a women’s wakeboard with great handling, low weight, and high performance—and they know how to create amazing designs.
Flamenell is a Czech brand focused mainly on apparel and accessories for board sports. What makes it unique is that it’s founded by women and all products are designed exclusively for women. We truly value this collaboration and the opportunity to be part of it.
Together, we created a hybrid wakeboard with razor-sharp control, low weight, and high performance. To achieve these characteristics, we used a narrowed outline at the tips, which—combined with large channels on the base—delivers fast edge-to-edge response and precise turn control. The two large asymmetrical cutouts at the tips act like fins during turns.
Along the center of the board run two longitudinal, sharply defined channels that provide stability on high-impact landings. Their 3D shape helps push water forward and backward along the board’s axis upon impact, ensuring a clean and controlled ride-away from your tricks.

WAPI – Design 2026
This year, when I started creating the design for 2026, I knew I wanted to make a simple black board. Basic. Clean.
But during the process, I kept coming back to the theme of the entire Fire Horse collection.
This year means a lot to me. The Year of the Fire Horse symbolizes energy, strength, and freedom. And since I feel deeply connected to this vibe, it was clear it would become the main idea behind the whole Flamenell collection.I didn’t want to go too literal and just put a horse on the board—it didn’t feel right.
So I started thinking differently—who embodies this energy?
And I thought of an Indigenous woman.Strong, calm, connected to nature. Yet wild and untamed. Exactly the contrast I love.
I wanted the design to have color, emotion, and life. In the end, I fully immersed myself in brush strokes, and that’s how WAPI was created.
An Indigenous woman who belongs to the Flamenell crew.The name WAPI is inspired by Indigenous names and means “happy.”
And that’s exactly the message of the whole design.On the base, the story comes full circle.
You’ll find a teepee—a symbol of a place where community is built. Where people share, grow, and where everyone has their place.For me, it’s not just a reference. It’s the feeling I get from Flamenell.
A crew. Girls riding together, supporting each other, creating their own world on the water and beyond.So the teepee in this design isn’t just a visual element.
It’s the foundation. A home base. A reminder that even when you ride full throttle and stay wild, you always have a place where you belong.Peace, health & love

3d machined woodcore
The core is CNC machined with an accuracy of 0.1 mm. This accuracy allows us to fine-tune the riding performance of our products.
Hydrodynamic bottom contour – wake specific
The profile of the 3D shape is designed with a view to its hydrodynamic properties needed for air tricks and park riding.
Quadraxial fibreglass
Quadraxial fibreglass is woven from fibres with 4 different orientations. We have it custom-made so that we're able to fine-tune the board's flex and torsion by choosing the correct weight and thickness of the individual directions of fibres.
Lite Carbon power stringers
Reinforcements from uni-directional carbon fibres improve the flex along the long axis of the board. Their position, weight and width help to optimize the performance.
Rubber dampened edge
To improve shock absorption and increase durability, we use VDO anti-vibration rubber on the joints of the base and the ABS sidewall.
Asymmetrical sidewall
The sidewall is sanded in the 90:10 ratio where on its upper side the profile of the core gets thinner towards the edges to allow for quicker and tighter turning.
Slide base
The sintered slide base was specially designed for wakeboarding and has a hardness of 9.2 × 10⁶ mol.
Bombproof inserts
The inserts are placed in beech stringers passing through the core. Moreover, they are reinforced with quadraxial carbon fabric.
